Something that does not go beep...

My wife car after the battery dies. Luckily a friend was in the same parking garage watching the fire in the sky show and was able to give us a jump.

New mouse

I got a new Rat 7 mouse becouse one of my dogs knocked over a cup of water and messed up my old one. I must say I like this mouse even if it feels small in my hand.

Tech... Who needs it?

I just wish I could find a device that I will not crash or find bugs in just by using it...

Live and learn

You know some times you might think you are keeping an eye on everything, but... some times you miss looking at something because you take it for granted. Friday, I was at work reorganizing the space where I store my signing materials and was pulling a pallet out of the steel. I was watching to make sure the pallet was clear of the steel and any thing else it might hit on its way to the ground. I started to lower and suddenly I heard a loud pop followed by the hissing of natural gas! It turned out that the back guard frame on the forks had snagged the cap on a pipe and managed to bend then break it near the heating unit. The whole store was evacuated until the gas could be shut off and was verified by the gas company that it was safe to go back inside. I guess it does not matter how carefully you are spotting for snags, you can still miss some thing...

I am just glad no one was hurt.
